Summer/Fall Update

Hello!

It was a very busy summer and fall filled with a wide variety of experiences.

First, I assistant directed Woodshed Collective's immersive adventure play EMPIRE TRAVEL AGENCY. ETA took audiences of four (yes, four!) on an wild ride through Lower Manhattan as they searched for a mythical substance that reportedly makes New York City full of vitality. We had an overwhelmingly positive response to the show including these reviews:

In September, I was selected as the SDC Foundation Observer for the world premiere production of THE BANDSTAND directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler (HAMILTON, IN THE HEIGHTS, BRING IT ON) at Paper Mill Playhouse. It was a pleasure to work with Andy and thrilling to be a part of this original musical. Recent news, says the show is Broadway bound!

Recent weeks have been filled with development for projects new and old. Writing continues for RIOT ANTIGONE with collaborators Jae Kim, Erato Kremmyda and Maggie-Kate Coleman. I began to work with collaborators Anna Baryshnikov and Jae Kim on a new play, ELLA MAYTHORNE'S GREATEST HIT, following the story of a girl who must launch a social media campaign to gain attention and support following a sexually violent incident at her college. We hope to stage an initial production shortly after the new year.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions or to say hello. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Best,

Brandon
